Rev. Mary Carol Anderson
Mary Carol serves as the Minister of Youth and Recreation at First Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University from which she earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications. She holds the Master of Divinity degree from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.
Mary Carol has not only attended Unidiversity as a Youth Minister but also as a youth who grew up coming to our week-long camp experience. She attended the first Unidiversity gathering at Shorter College in 1993.
Bridget serves as the Minister to Families at Augusta Road Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.
Bridget previously served as Associate Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Greenlawn Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.
Bridget is married to her husband Michael and they have one son, Michael.
Caleb serves as Associate Minister with Students and Mission at Emerywood Baptist Church where he has been for the past 3 years.
Caleb has served in student ministry across Mississippi, Alabama, Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina for the past 14 years. Caleb loves to awaken students to the larger narrative of the work of God going on all around them every day and works to equip teenagers with a hunger for justice and commitment to living out a life that looks more like Jesus. Caleb and his wife Mary Beth, both graduated from Samford University and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and they have 2 fierce and awesome daughters, Ava and Eleanor.
Rev. Scott Thrailkill
Scott serves as the Associate Minister at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro, NC.
He grew up in the little southern town of Atlanta, GA, where he grew to learn and appreciate the value of grits, sweet tea, saying “ya’ll”, and Georgia Bulldog football! He has also been a lifelong Braves fan (even thorugh they waited to start winning until afer he moved away). Scott graduated with a BA degree from Shorter College in Rome, GA, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. After serving churches in KY, GA, and NC he has been the Associate Minister at First Baptist Church of Goldsboro for the past 15 years.
Scott enjoys college football, golf, a good book, and traveling with his family. He is married to Michelle, and they have one daughter, Madison, who is in her first year of being a Demon Deacon at Wake Forest University.
Rev. Casey Callahan
Casey serves as Minister with Students at First Baptist Church of Asheville.
He grew up on a family farm in Travelers Rest, SC, where the best parts of life occurred outdoors. He studied the soil at Clemson University and then shifted studies to the soul at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond (Virginia). Casey frequently finds points of intersection between the sacred and the mundane, and deeply enjoys exploring such intersections with others. He is married to Martha Ann H. Callahan, and they have a son, Brennan, and a foster daughter, both of whom fill their lives with joy and wonder. Casey recently completed a doctoral degree program at Louisville Seminary, focusing on Celtic spirituality in a postmodern context.
Rev. Elizabeth Maye
Elizabeth serves as the Minister to Children and Youth at Second Avenue Baptist Church in Rome, GA.
She grew up in Wingate, NC and has called all regions of the state home. She earned a BA in Bible and Religion/Youth Ministry from Montreat College and a Master of Divinity from Gardner-Webb University.
